Know Your Catholic Faith!

Do not be afraid. Go on speaking, and do not be silent, for I am with you. No one will attack and harm you, for I have many people in this city. (Acts 18:9-10)

Have you every had a door-to-door evangelist visit your house, or stop you on the street to discuss your "salvation" or his anti-Catholic beliefs? Perhaps you have been involved in a social gathering where discussions about religion and faith turned into attacks on the Catholic Church and your spiritual understandings.

As Catholics, we often take for granted the teaching that have been given to us from scripture and passed down to us by the Holy Catholic Church. The doctrines and teachings of Holy Mother Church form the foundation of our faith. All Catholics should have a basic understanding of these teachings in order to "defend" the Church against those who would attach Her.

The links below provide important information on many of the more common view-points that are argued by many anti-Catholic groups. Take the time to Know Your Faith by reading this information and, with respect and compassion, reach out to those who have been mislead about Catholicism.
