The Springfield Council of the Knights of Columbus will be conducting their 6th Annual 5K Run and Fun Walk on Saturday, October 6th at 9:00am at Burke Lake Park in Fairfax, VA. All proceeds from this year’s 5K will directly benefit Virginia citizens with intellectual disabilities (KOVAR) and St. Bernadette’s School.

Awards: Awards will be presented to male and female 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers, in twelve age groups, as well as overall men's and woman's finishers. Additionally, each registered participant will receive an event tee-shirt and will be eligible to win one of the many valuable door prizes. Participants and their families and friends are also invited to enjoy a free barbecue picnic lunch, live musical entertainment, awards ceremony and door prize drawing following the 5K.

Registration: Pre-registration is $15 until Sep 24, $20 after, and $25 on day of the event. Special pricing is available for Youth and Families. Online registration is available at http://www.signmeup.com/57855. A mail in registration form can also be downloaded by clicking HERE.

Sponsors: Donations from 5K Sponsors are needed to defray the cost of timing the event, park fees, shirts and refreshments for race participants. Sponsors may contribute money, merchandise, gift certificates/coupons or services to cover the race expenses and provide prizes for the door prize drawings.
